With the Rocky Mountains as your backdrop spend the day exploring Denver's many museums, stores, breweries, and attractions. Denver is one of the most walkable and friendly cities. We recommend dinner at Denver's Oldest Restaurant in the evening. 120 years old and founded by Shorty Scout who rode with Buffalo Bill Cody and Sitting Bull, this is a must for serious meat lovers!

Drive to Glenwood Springs - Relax in the Hot Springs
Today you will set off for a four-hour drive to Glenwood Springs with stops along the way in Breckinridge for a gold mining tour. Afterward, take time to explore the many other attractions such as the interactive museum, get your picture taken with a burro or slide down a 55-foot-long ore chute! Continue onto Glenwood Springs, check into your 4 Star Hotel and bask in the soothing mineral waters of the World's Largest Hot Springs.

Drive to Durango - San Juan Skyway
Enjoy an included made to order breakfast before you leave Glenwood Springs. Feeling renewed, take to the road for a 5-hour scenic drive passing through Ouray and Silverton as you make your way to Durango. This route takes you on part of the scenic San Juan Skyway.
On arrival in Durango check into your downtown Historic Hotel.
Your hotel is a living museum of Durango's wild west and iconic past, you will find history and awe-inspiring stories and craftsmanship literally everywhere here.
The rest of the day is at leisure to explore and experience downtown Durango.

The Canyons of the Ancients National Monument near Mesa Verde National Park in Colorado is a rugged and breathtaking landscape containing the highest known density of archaeological sites in the United States. Start at the Canyons of the Ancients Visitor Center to pick up a map and choose from multiple ancient ruins sites. The most popular is the Lowry Pueblo – a very well-preserved 40 room dwelling that houses 8 different kiva. Also worth visiting is the Sand Canyon Pueblo – a huge village area with 420 rooms, 14 towers, and 100 kivas, built around 1200 AD. Continue on and stop off in Pueblo, enjoy its riverwalk and many dining options, this is a great place to grab an authentic Mexican meal!
