The Game of Thrones Studio Experience!

Whether you’re a fan of the Game of Thrones series in film or books, an all-around film buff, or simply looking for an amazing experience, consider putting the Game of Thrones Studio Tour on your bucket list. You’ll have a behind-the-scenes look at how a television show, on such a large scale, was brought to life in the heart of Northern Ireland. The largest one-level attraction on the Isle of Ireland, and just 30 minutes from Belfast or 90 minutes from Dublin, the world of Westeros is easy to reach.

Located in Banbridge, Northern Ireland the tour takes place in what used to be a linen factory. When the factory moved, the site became the home and host for HBO’s Game of Thrones for the next ten years. The actor who plays Ser Barristan Selmy, Ian McElhinney, takes you on the tour, regaling you with stories of the linen mill, then moving on to the show. In cooperation with HBO, this tour first opened in February of 2022. It is the only official Game of Thrones studio tour in the world, giving visitors an exclusive peek into Northern Ireland’s largest screen success.
