The Lodge Restaurant: The Lodge Restaurant at Vaughan Lodge Lahinch has a reputation for fine food and seafood, and provides the village’s premier fine dining venue. Michael’s Uncle, Eamonn Vaughan and his wife Rita ran the very popular Mr Eamonn’s in the village for many years. The strong tradition and popularity of the Vaughans continues. The atmosphere in the seafood restaurant in Lahinch is casual but elegant and you are always assured of a great menu and service. Michael supervises the restaurant service while one of Ireland’s top young chef’s James Coffey produces simply creative cuisine. Local specialities include Burren Lamb reared on the lush herbs of the barren country, Prime Angus Beef, and Smoked Salmon from Lisdoonvarna. Cheeses from Inagh and other craft artisans are popular.
