The 8th century illuminated manuscript, the Book of Kells, must be viewed. It is on display at the impressive Trinity College, Ireland's first university (founded 1592) in the heart of Dublin. East Restaurant: East creates a whole new dining experience in Dublin, offering lunch and dinner in the heart of Dublin. The restaurant, tucked away in a corner of the IFSC and recently refurbished still retains a loyal local following, with long-time regulars sitting harmoniously alongside the increasing number of international visitors. Head Chef Jan Sowtus uses modernist techniques and artistry which come together to produce amazing results. He has developed a menu that combines old classics like Nuea Pat Si Ew Kao or Nasi Goreng. The result, a heady hi-lo fusion that combines the thrill and taste sensation of simple dishes with the refinement of some of the greatest gourmet dishes. The Pantry: The Pantry at The Spencer is where you can enjoy breakfast each morning. The pantry is designed as a sleek minimalist space. The whole breakfast process is streamlined providing an effortless start to the day. Choose from our full selection of cereals and fruits followed by our hot buffet serving full Irish breakfast. We also offer breakfast to go if you are in a hurry and just want to take your tea or coffee with you. The Spencer Cocktail Bar: The Spencer Cocktail Bar is Dublin's newest meeting place. Newly redesigned The Spencer Cocktail Bar offers a cool, hip, trendy meeting place in Dublin's IFSC. Signature cocktails, relaxed open plan spaces, a bespoke 3 sided magma fireplace, huge sofa's, cosy snugs and quirky Jack Russell stools, along with house DJ's that play every weekend introduce a fabulous cocktail bar experience in the IFSC.
