The Old Presbytery

The Old Presbytery is a charming guesthouse located in the heart of charming Kinsale Town. This lovely Georgian house is located on a quiet street offering private parking in the town centre. It is very close to the Old Courthouse and Wine Museum in Desmond Castle. The Old Presbytery Guesthouse is almost 200 years old, and in times gone by was the residence of the priests of nearby St. John The Baptist Parish Church. The atmosphere at The Old Presbytery is serene and full of character. Rooms are furnished with old Irish pine and big comfy antique brass beds.

Rooms & Amenities

The rooms in the original house have been upgraded and while retaining their old world charm have modern bathrooms, some with Jacuzzi tubs. Some rooms also have balconies and a Sun Room has been added to one of the rooms so that the view may be enjoyed whatever the weather. All rooms are furnished with antique brass and iron beds, lovely linens and interesting Irish pine. Dining

Your hosts at The Old Presbytery provide a sumptuous Full Irish Breakfast each morning. A 'Full Irish Breakfast' typically consists of bacon (rashers!), sausages, black & white pudding, eggs, toast, tea or coffee. A selection of cereals, fruit & juices are also available to those who may not wish to start their day with too much salty meat! 'We use locally sourced, organic and free range produce wherever possible. We are spoilt for choice with the freshest of fish from Kinsale, superb West Cork farmhouse cheeses, organic free range eggs from our local farm, and the best of Irish bacon from Cork’s famous English market. We are happy to cater for any special dietary requirements – just let us know!'
