Dining

The Brasserie: With a sharp focus on Irish, locally sourced produce, the Brasserie is a refreshing addition to the Grand Canal restaurant scene. Located right beside the Bord Gais Energy Theatre, it’s the perfect pre-theatre destination. The rich elemental theme of the Marker comes to life in this space. The bold, abstract ceiling is complimented by modern, minimal furniture, including legendary design icon - the Panton chair. A spectacular grey marble table dominates the space, while private booths and banquette seating create just the right amount of privacy for intimate dining. In Ireland, the traditional way of cooking is to create simple dishes, built around one great ingredient. The Brasserie is no different. From succulent rare breed pork or prime dry-aged beef we try to stay true to our Irish roots. The Marker Bar: The Marker Bar exudes its own unique style and ambience. Modern, fresh and totally laid back, it draws an eclectic mix of people through its doors. It’s got some really unique features too, that strike just the right balance between work and play. The gorgeous feature fire provides the perfect setting for a long, lazy afternoon, flicking through the papers, in perfectly cosy surroundings. A long workbench with directional lighting and docking points is the perfect for informal meetings and catching up with a bit of work. Or you can grab a helping of fresh air in the alfresco outdoor terrace area. As for the food? Well, you’ll find all the classics, kept simple, using locally sourced ingredients. Choose from seasonal soups, gourmet sandwiches and charcuterie plates or try some delicious Irish Farmhouse cheeses drizzled with locally sourced honey. While the food speaks for itself, we can also help you choose the perfect craft beer or wine to make things really special.
