The Lovat
The Lovat is an independently owned former Victorian station hotel located in the bustling yet quaint village of Fort Augustus on the banks of Loch Ness. Over the last 10 years, the hotel has been nurtured by Caroline Gregory and Sean Kelly with help from their team, into becoming an award-winning eco-conscious hotel that is attracting increasing interest as well as maintaining a loyal customer base, who are captivated by the hotel’s naturally warm hospitality in such an iconic location.
The hotel is perfect for families, outdoor enthusiasts or those who just wish for a quiet getaway and its central location gives it an ideal base for longer days out or for exploration from the doorstep.
