Mystical Rose is an award-winning country home, providing Bed and Breakfast style accommodation in Killarney. Mystical Rose is located just 15 minutes walk from the heart of town, yet adjacent to the famous & scenic lakeland district of Muckross - ideally situated in a quiet area and yet close to all restaurants, pubs and shops. Your hostess, Noreen O'Mahoney, continues the long-running tradition of Irish welcome and hospitality in the country home established by her mother in 1957. Noreen is a wealth of fantastic local knowledge, which she is delighted to share with guests. Mystical Rose is decorated in a wonderfully unique, traditional style, very much complimented b y Noreen's immaculate rose garden.

Killarney Town: On the Map: Killarney is located in County Kerry in the southwest of Ireland. The town is reached via the N22 from Tralee/ Limerick (to the north) and the N22 from Cork City (to the southeast). Killarney lies on the edge of the astoundingly beautiful Killarney National Park, with its three magnificent lakes and the spectacular MacGillycuddy Reeks mountain range. The park is also home to Muckross House and Gardens. Killarney is a wonderful base for all manner of activities including angling and water sports, golf, riding, orienteering, hiking, cycling, and canoeing. The town itself is quite small but full of charm - this you will soon see as you walk down the brick footpaths and pass curious old-style shop fronts. Killarney is well known for its excellent shops, restaurants and cosmopolitan appeal. It is also renowned for its evening entertainment including many singing pubs, cabarets, dancing venues, and banquets. Traditional Irish music can also be heard in many of the local pubs on a nightly basis.

Noreen provides guests with a wonderful breakfast at Mystical Rose. The usual full Irish breakfast is available, along with many other options - many homemade. A ‘Full Irish Breakfast’ typically consists of bacon (rashers!), sausages, black & white pudding, eggs, toast, tea or coffee. A selection of cereals, fruit & juices are also available to those who may not wish to start their day with too much salty meat!
