The restaurant at Miller Howe Hotel has been designed to ensure you can enjoy top-quality cuisine while gazing over beautiful Lake Windermere and the majestic Langdale Pikes for the ultimate luxury experience. Head Chef Craig Davies is extremely passionate about food and has created a wide selection of exciting menus which feature ingredients from the kitchen garden and farm fields. Menus offer local delights, perhaps Cartmel venison, Cumbrian pork with a cider jus, ginger panna cotta with roast pineapple. The wine list is comprehensive and each wine has been individually handpicked to pair with the delectable dishes offered.
Afternoon Tea:
Enjoy the quintessential English Afternoon Tea experience, which even the connoisseurs of Afternoon Tea wouldn’t be able to fault. In addition our Afternoon tea will change seasonally making the best use of the fresh, local produce, kitchen garden produce available to us.
Dainty little finger sandwiches embodying the traditional fillings, fresh baked scones with homemade preserves and gooey clotted cream. Cakes in all their glory- delicious and oozing with pleasurable flavours, all served on the finest bone china and accompanied by a fragrant cup of tea or a little glass of bubbles.
The Hotel Bar is open daily from 11am until late. Welcoming hotel residents and non- residents, the bar has cosy feel and wood burning stove and is the perfect place to relax and enjoy drinks with friends. We offer a wide selection of wines available by the glass, plus a good selection of spirits and beers. We are very proud of our extensive selection of hand crafted gins from throughout the UK. For those wishing to try something a bit different we also provide a wide selection of cocktails.
