Mercure Oxford Eastgate Hotel

The Mercure Oxford Eastgate hotel is a 17th century building located in the centre of Oxford that has been recently refurbished for guest enjoyment and pleasure. Opposite of the University buildings in Oxford, famous novelists J.R.R. Tolkien and C.S Lewis frequented the hotel while being Fellows at Merton College and Magdalen College respectively. The Eastgate Townhouse boasts the newly opened Marco's New York Italian restaurant and is an ideal place to stay while in Oxford.

The City of Oxford: On The Map: Oxford is located in the southern midlands of England, just 60 miles northwest of London.
