Hi folks , A huge welcome to Oban and to Kathmore Guest House where we offer you genuine home from home bed and breakfast accommodation.
For the past 35 years Keith and I (I'm Morven) have had the privilege of sharing our home with guests from all over the world. We are delighted to welcome new guests to Kathmore along with our annual pilgrims who just keep coming back for more. We love what we do and enjoy meeting and talking with our guests. We are always on hand to advise and guide you on what to do and where to go to help make your stay in Oban a memorable one.
Kathmore Guest House in Scotland, is situated on the south side of Oban and a 10 minute gentle walk (no hills!) takes you into the heart of our beautiful town and gives you access to all road, rail and ferry transportation.
Take a relaxing stroll to explore the town and take in the stunning views across Oban Bay to Kerrera Island and beyond to the majestic Isle of Mull and the hills of Morvern. Stop by one of Oban's great restaurants where you can sample seafood at it's very best or enjoy a wee dram in one of the many pubs and enjoy Oban's friendly hospitality.
Relax at the end of your day in our comfortable lounge or sit out on the decking with a glass of wine to enjoy the long summer evenings. We will gladly provide you with drinking glasses, ice and wine coolers.

Dining
We offer a delicious and hearty breakfast, freshly cooked to order from the varied menu and served between 7.30 am - 8.45 am. If earlier breakfast is required we can offer continental or packed breakfast. We will cater for most dietary requirements and if you need anything in particular please advise us at time of booking.
Our breakfast starts with fresh fruit juices, a selection of cereals or porridge, varied fruits and yogurts before getting down to the cooked selection. You can choose any combination from bacon, pork sausage, beef , black pudding, tomatoes, mushrooms, baked beans and potato scones. Eggs fried, poached, or scrambled . Accompanied by brown or white toast.
