Hillcroft

Hillcroft is a traditional croft house built circa 1920, which has been extended and modernized over the years. In particular the bedrooms and ensuites have been upgraded to provide very well appointed guest accommodation. There is a comfortable sitting room for guest use, with an open fire to sit round if the evenings are chilly, and a bright sunny dining room for morning breakfast. Outside there is ample parking space, plus covered parking for motorcycles and bicycles. Hillcroft offers stunning views across Loch Snizort beag to the Trotternish hills in the east and glimpses of the spectacular black Cuillin ridge to the south.

Rooms & Amenities

All bedrooms at Hillcroft have ensuite shower rooms. The comfortable beds have down duvets and cotton bedding. All Guestrooms Feature:

There is a Sitting Room at Hillcroft for guests to use in the evenings, It has a flat screen TV and DVD player, a varied selection of DVDs and CDs, a laptop for guests use plus a good selection of books and maps of Skye. A cozy coal fire is lit on chilly evenings!

Dining

There is a bright sunny dining room at Hillcroft with one large table. Your hosts great pride in their breakfasts and serve fresh fruit salad, yoghurts, a selection of cereals, and homemade soda bread followed by a choice of cooked dishes. The fish served is locally smoked, and where possible, all ingredients are sourced on Skye. The eggs are from Hillcroft's hens and ducks; herbs, tomatoes and strawberries from the garden when in season. Make your choice at the table and your breakfast will be freshly cooked for you while you enjoy the company of your fellow guests. Your hosts are happy to cater for special diets, e.g. vegetarian, gluten free, dairy free, etc. Please just let us know!
