Grant Arms Hotel
In the fine Scottish country town of Grantown on Spey, not far from the famous Spey River in the Heart of the Cairngorm National Park, lies the handsome stone built Grant Arms Hotel, specialized in Bird Watching and Wildlife. The Grant Arms Hotel has changed a lot since Queen Victoria stayed here in 1860. Built in 1765 during the reign of King George III and situated in the Cairngorms National Park in Grantown on Spey, the Grant Arms Hotel is a traditional Scottish building, tastefully refurbished to provide thoroughly modern standards of comfort. The on-site restaurant and bar have been designed with a warm and traditional feel, to enable space yet intimacy.

The on-site restaurant run by Head Chef, Steven “Fred” Hart, and his Team is passionate about using as much local, regional produce as possible in the creation of the menus. Free Range, Hand Reared, Organic and GM free where possible are key elements in Fred’s choice of supplier.
A Full Scottish Breakfast is served in the restaurant from 7:oo am to 10:oo am.
“Capercaillie” Bar
Relax and enjoy a drink in the “Capercaillie Bar”. There is a full range of Bar drinks available, including a wide selection of Speyside Single Malts and Scottish Gins, but also draught beers as well as locally brewed guest ales. Teas and Coffees are served throughout the day. Lite Bites/Afternoon tea is also offered during the afternoon and includes finger sandwiches, scones, tray bakes, and pastries
