Opened in 1983 as a four bedroom guesthouse by proprietors Mary and Dick Fitzgerald, the 4 star Fitzgerald's Woodlands House Hotel & Spa has now grown into one of the region's leading leisure, wedding and conference venues, with 89 bedrooms offering hotel accommodation in Adare.
Mary and Dick are parents of four, and grandparents of seven. Today, the business remains very much a family affair - with sons David working as General Manager of this Adare hotel and Conor as Development Manager for the Fitzgerald Group. Daughter Elaina, works as Sales Director.
