THE CULTURAL AND NATURAL WONDERS OF NORWAY & ICELAND

Cringletie House Hotel

Cringletie House is a former Scottish baronial home, located near Peebles, and only 40 minutes south of Edinburgh. The beautiful property provides relaxing accommodation in 14 beautiful bedrooms, including one luxurious suite, plus a delightful cottage in the grounds, all individually designed, and all offering outstanding views over the gardens and Scottish countryside beyond.

Along with a restaurant, the smoke-free country house has 3 bars/lounges and concierge services. Free WiFi in public areas and free self-parking are also provided. Additionally, dry cleaning, laundry facilities, and free newspapers are onsite. As you approach Cringletie House for the first time, you will get a foretaste of its beautiful grounds and gardens - sweeping manicured lawns, acres of mature woodland, grazing sheep, a pitch and putt course and, behind the house, our famous walled garden with its 400-year-old yew hedge, reputed to be the oldest in Scotland. Guests can play boules or outdoor chess in the walled garden and you may even spot badgers or owls in the woods at dusk. Come here in the Autumn and see the children gather their own conkers from our chestnut trees.
