THE CULTURAL AND NATURAL WONDERS OF NORWAY & ICELAND

Chapel of Barras Farmhouse

Chapel of Barras Farm is a working farm in the Stonehaven area of the bonnie North East of Scotland. The Farmhouse B&B is ideally located for ease of travel to Aberdeen, Dundee and all parts of Angus and Aberdeenshire. Chapel of Barras was originally a dairy farm, but now breeds Beef Cattle and grows cereal. Your hosts, David and Michelle, always wanted to start offering bed and breakfast and with this in mind, decided to take the plunge and start the laborious job of extending the farmhouse in 2009 to include 5 luxury bedrooms - all with en-suite facilities, and a comfortable dining room. The farmhouse refurbishment was a true labor of love, and this is evident from the care and attention to detail so obvious in quality of the accommodation. Each guestroom is complete with a wall-mounted plasma TV, WiFi internet, Hairdrier, Tea & Coffee making facilities.
