Castletown Round House

The Round House at Castletown provides the opportunity for a delightful getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The house is one of three adjoining Gate Lodge buildings serving Castletown House - the largest and most significant Palladian Country House in Ireland. The Gate Lodges are known separately as The Round House, The Pottery and The Gate House. The Round House is prominently positioned at the top of the main street in Celbridge, located across from the quaint Church of Ireland Christ Church, built in 1884, which retains the majestic tower of an earlier church. Originally constructed in the late 1700s, the Round House has recently been carefully and lovingly restored, and the result is an amazingly unique and historic place to stay. As a vacation rental at which you are the only guests during your stay, Castletown is a fantastic option for families or two or more couples, who wish to spend some quality, uninterrupted time together!
