Castlemartyr Resort
Part archaic castle ruins built by The Knights Templar in 1210, part 18th-century manor house and part contemporary hotel, this spectacular resort offers a truly unique stay. The Castlemartyr Resort is set on 220 acres of parkland with its own meandering stream and a tranquil lake, offering opportunities for family fun like pony and trap riding, golfing, archery, hurling (an archaic Irish sport) and more. If relaxing and enjoying far-reaching countryside views and a stylish spa center fits your style a little more, try out the indoor swimming pool, 10 treatment rooms and fitness studio. The Knight’s Bar is a great place for an informal drink and snack, or you might enjoy a more full dining experience at the AA Rosette Awarded Bell Tower Restaurant, as you look out over the gardens. The Resort also includes an 18-hole, link-style golf course. Guests can also enjoy a carriage tour of the estate, including a visit to the historic chapel, the tomb of the 4th Earl of Shannon and Mitchell's Woods.

Dining
The Bell Tower Restaurant
Situated in the Manor House, the Bell Tower Restaurant offers a dining experience hard to beat, and impossible to forget. The restaurant is tranquil and elegant and overlooks the formal Gardens. It offers the very best of contemporary Irish cuisine, created with top quality local and seasonal produce.
A selection of vegetarian options and low calorie dishes are available. Breakfast is served daily in the Bell Tower. In the evening, the restaurant offers an extensive menu, with a carefully chosen wine list.
All food is prepared by Head Chef Kevin Burke and his team and we are very proud of the fact that every meal served comes from the one kitchen at the hotel, be it a tasting menu, to room service to our ever-popular afternoon tea.
