Carrygerry Country House

Carrygerry is a Charming 'Old World' Country House, which was built in 1793. Carrygerry is located near Shannon, in scenic County Clare in the West of Ireland, just off the Wild Atlantic Way Drive. Although less then 10 minutes from Shannon International Airport, you will experience a Country House atmosphere of peace & tranquility, with antique furnishings & glowing fires. Carrygerry boasts 11 elegant guestrooms between the main house and courtyard. All individually styled with antique furnishings, and vary in size, as no two rooms are alike. Carrygerry's award winning 'Conservatory Restaurant' overlooks the Shannon and Fergus Estuary, and is a relaxed & very charming place to dine. Owners Niall & Gillian are justifiably proud of the reputation the restaurant has gained over the years, and in order to ensure that the highest standards are maintained, only the finest and freshest local produce is used, with a large emphasis on organic and artisan growers.

The Conservatory Restaurant: The award winning "Conservatory Restaurant" overlooks the Shannon and Fergus Estuary is a relaxed & very charming place to dine. Owners Niall & Gillian are very proud of the reputation the restaurant has gained over the years. In order to ensure that the very highest standards are maintained, only the finest and freshest local produce is used, with a large emphasis on organic and artisan growers and producers, while always respecting the season. To compliment their menus, Niall & Gillian have carefully chosen a wine card to enhance your dining experience. The card offers a fine balance of both new and old world wine for your pleasure and enjoyment. Please note that the Conservatory Restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays. Niall & Gillian are happy to make recommendations on great places to eat in close proximity to Carrygerry House.
