Auch an Doune is a wonderful little B&B, located on the southern outskirts of Portree Town, on the Isle of Skye. The house is only a 10 minute walk from the heart of town, yet quiet and secluded. There are gardens to the front and rear, and the back yard offers lovely views of the Cuillin Mountains and Loch Portree. Complimentary Wi-Fi is available throughout the house and private, off-street parking is also provided. Your hosts Joanne & Donnie, have a wealth of local knowledge, which they are only too happy to share with guests - from must-see sites on the island, to the best places to eat in Portree. And, their hearty Scottish welcome & hospitality is nigh on legendary!

Dining

A full Scottish Breakfast is included with your stay at Auch an Doune, which is served in the charming sun-room. Breakfast starts with fresh fruit juices, a selection of cereals, fresh fruit salad and yoghurts. A full Scottish breakfast is then available, including sausages, bacon, eggs, tomatoes, & mushrooms - in any combination you choose. All of the above accompanied by brown or white toast, and a freshly brewed cup of tea or fresh ground coffee. Auch an Doune also offers smoked haddock, smoked salmon, porridge & haggis for the more adventurous palette!
