Achnagairn Estate Castle Hotel

Achnagairn Castle is a privately owned, 5-star luxury venue in Scotland, open to guests either on a hotel basis or as an exclusive use venue for weddings or corporate events.

Over the summer months, Achnagairn opens its doors as a boutique hotel with 21 ensuite bedrooms, serving breakfast and dinner in luxurious surroundings. For the rest of the year, the castle is a 5-star exclusive use venue catering for groups of up to 200 for romantic weddings, family gatherings or corporate events.

The castle itself can sleep up to 55 in 24 stunning bedrooms, many with four-poster beds and whirlpool baths. There are several reception rooms for use either as meeting rooms, or simply for relaxing by a log fire. The stunning vaulted ballroom is the crown jewel of the castle, occupying up to 200 for dinner or 260 for drinks and dancing.

200 metres from the castle, Achnagairn has 7 Large Luxury Lodges, with an additional 38 bedrooms, all with cute individual names, which can either be rented in conjunction with the castle, on their own for smaller groups or as an individual boutique B&B en-suite bedroom . There is also an award-winning restaurant - Table Manors - in one of the lodges.

Expect to hear tales of the city’s blood-chilling past, including ghosts, witches, murders, and spells! Stroll along the River Ness, or cruise on the Moray Firth, searching out bottlenose dolphins. It is very peaceful, especially if you’ve just been ghost-hunting ... The River Ness flows through Inverness, and salmon fishermen come during the summer, even where the river runs right through the city’s center. High above the city is Inverness Castle, a unique Victorian built of red sandstone. Just below the castle is the museum and Art Gallery which runs exhibitions and workshops for kids. The main shopping area fans out from there in three directions, and includes a lively gathering place where pipers and other musicians get together and make music.

Table Manors - This restaurant is awarded two Rosettes by the AA, the highest score available. Even though it's still quite new, food at Table Manor is outstanding in quality and taste. The service is highly acclaimed and the chefs work due to the restaurants motto "Escape the Ordinary". Every aspect is set to be extraordinary and it's probably the best restaurant in Inverness. They offer menus with three to seven courses.

From Tuesday - Sunday you can enjoy amazing dinner, lunch is available on Sundays from 12 - 4 pm.
