A legacy is handed down over time, through family, tradition, and lots of wine. Your first tasting occurs onboard our open-air train car by your on-board Maitre’ D at the Napa Valley Welcome Sign, where upon concluding the tasting you will disembark for a photo opportunity at this legendary landmark. The legacy of Charles Krug Winery and V. Sattui Winery represents a combined winemaking history of over 200 years and some very fine vintages. Some say this is where it all began, and this is where your journey begins.

Today you will set off with your chauffeur deep into Sonoma County to explore the famous Redwoods. Located just north of the Russian River in a canyon two miles from Guerneville's Main Street, Armstrong Redwoods was put aside as a natural park and botanical garden in the 1870's and is a living reminder of the magnificent primeval redwood forest that covered much of this area before logging operations began during the 19th century. California's coast redwoods are the world's tallest living things and among the planet's oldest living things, capable of surviving for 2,000 years or longer.
You'll also visit a historic champagne house where you'll enjoy a tour through the champagne cellars and history museum, ending with a tasting of California's finest champagne. Complete your visit if you wish with a visit to the Delicatessen & Market. Sit on the outdoor decks among the majestic redwoods while enjoying a delicious bite paired with a favorite sparkling varietal. Round out your day with a visit to the Francis Ford Coppola Winery.
