This is the Alaska adventure you’ve imagined all your life. Your expedition begins in Anchorage, heart of national parks and unique wildlife. A naturalist will guide you through woodlands, wildlife, and glaciers. That afternoon, you’ll have a brewery and bites tour of Anchorage. Drive to nearby Kenai Peninsula, an ideal base. Take an aerial tram to the top of Mt. Alyeska for views of hanging glaciers and tumbling waterfalls. Board a helicopter and meet sled dogs on a glacier. Get on and ride! At the Alaska Wildlife Conservation Center, dedicated to protecting Alaska’s own, you safely meet bears.
Next is your hidden gem experience. Stay in a secluded eco-lodge, with upscale comforts, and discover the authentic Alaska. Unplug and truly breathe. Before heading back to Anchorage, cruise the glaciers and have lunch as you glide past seals and whales. Back in Anchorage, your resort is on the lake with forever views, yet close to the Anchorage airport. It’s really not so wild a dream to plan for your Alaska vacation, the place where wild dreams become reality.
Our tours are as much about the history of Alaskan beers, the masters who brew them and the locals who drink them, as they are about tasting the beers themselves. During your 4-hour adventure, your Big Swig Hoperator will escort you around town and off the beaten path as you explore 3 of Anchorage's finest breweries. Tickets include a minimum of 14 beer tastings from 3 different brewery stops, a selection of appetizers at Midnight Sun Brewing Co., roundtrip transportation and 4 hours of stories you’ll be sure to recount to your friends back home.

Glacier Dog Sledding Experience

On the peaks surrounding glorious Girdwood rise the glaciers. One of them, Punchbowl Glacier, is the summer home for teams of sled dogs and the people who care for them. You’ll board a helicopter and reach the site of an ultimate Alaskan adventure. The two-hour tour begins at the Girdwood Airport. At an altitude of 3,200 feet, the sled dog basecamp comes into view and, with a soft landing, the canine fun begins. The Iditarod sled dogs who live at Punchbowl are on a summer break, training for winter races begins in the fall, but it’s clear from the way they jump and vocalize, that they love the sound of a sled on snow. Also, that they’d rather run than take a break! And run they do.They sweep the sled around the perimeter of the glacier, and you are their welcome guests. You’ll either ride seated in front or standing on the back rails. The musher mans the brakes and calls directions. When you get back to the base camp, you’re welcome to visit with the dogs who want to welcome you. With luck, you may also meet some sled dog puppies.

Seward, Alaska
Seward's location is nothing short of epic. It sits at the northernmost edge of Resurrection Bay, a deeply dug fjord carved millennia ago by retreating glaciers. To the east are snowcapped peaks decked out in their lower altitudes by forests of Sitka spruce. To the west is 700 square miles of ice known as the Harding Icefield. It is encompassed by the larger Kenai Fjords National Park. No matter where you look, there's something beautiful to see. Seward offers a wide selection of activities for every age, energy level, and interest. By far the most popular are Kenai Fjords day cruises into Resurrection Bay and Kenai Fjords National Park. Our favorite cruises go by spacious catamaran into Aialik Bay for astounding views of tidewater glaciers and ample chances to see the area's diverse marine wildlife. Seward's beautiful bay waters can also be explored by a guided kayak excursion. Seward is a great place for fishing. Monster halibut are caught each year in nearby waters, and the town is host to the popular Seward Silver Salmon Derby held annually in mid-August. Back on land, there's the Alaska SeaLife Center, hiking at Exit Glacier, ziplining, sled dog kennel tours-the list goes on.
