Dining

Fine Dining Restaurant: Culcreuch Castle Hotel's first floor Fine-Dining Restaurant features elegant candlelit à la carte dining. Back when the chiefs of the Clan Galbraith called for victuals, kitchen staff had to make do with whatever simple ingredients they had at hand. But that included fresh salmon and trout, all manner of game, rich tangy cheeses and, in season, wonderful vegetables, wild mushrooms and berries. Fresh Scottish produce is still the basis of what is done at the castle today, although your meal is served with rather more imagination, and much better manners! The Dungeon Diner: The Dungeon Diner Restaurant at Culcreuch Castle Hotel is located within the original Tower itself and is a great place to eat out if you are looking for somewhere unique in Central Scotland, within an easy drive from Glasgow or Stirling. With its burnished stone walls and despite the name, it is a very atmospheric, warm, friendly place, with a full and varied bar meal menu to suit all tastes. It is an especially cozy proposition in Winter, with an open fire blazing in the Bar. Truly a Scottish experience to remember and to tell your grandchildren some day!
